Methodology

How a campaign is researched, pitched and reported

Research before writing

Every engagement opens with research: the client's current coverage, the competitors who already own the story, the outlets that matter in the target city and the dates on the news calendar that could help or hurt a launch. Writing begins only after that picture is clear.

Pitching in small batches

Pitches go out in small, tailored batches rather than one bulk send. Each batch is adjusted from the replies the last one produced, so weak angles are dropped early and strong ones are carried to more outlets with better proof behind them.

Reporting that shows the work

Clients receive a coverage report that lists every approach made, every reply received and every piece secured, with links to the published items. A quiet month therefore still shows a full record of work, and a loud one shows exactly which effort produced it.
